Join us in July for a professional development workshop for educators, Design and Consumption: Mechanisms of Conveying InformationBy examining historical methods of artistic expression including visual art, textiles, tattoos, and more, participating in this workshop will explore the roots of modern-day messaging and information consumption prevalent in today’s digital culture and social media landscape. This workshop is designed for community college educators, but educators at all levels are welcome to attend!

The Wisconsin International Resource Consortium (WIRC) is a collaboration among the nine UW-Madison Area Studies Centers with the mission to provide internationally themed outreach programming, resources, and support to K-14 teachers and students, Minority Serving Institutions (MSI), and community colleges.
